Tickety-Boo PlayTime Franchising Package & MusicTime Licence agreements

Following the success of the Tickety-Boo PlayTime programme which was quickly followed with the launch of the Tickety-Boo MusicTime programme in September 2006, and with recognition in the Best New Business category in Birmingham’s local business awards we are pleased to announce that we are now in a position to offer a full franchising package for the PlayTime programme and a very simple Licensing arrangement for Tickety-Boo MusicTime.

With Tickety-Boo our ambition is to replicate the fun experience we have had running Tickety-Boo PlayTime & MusicTime and enable families across the UK the chance to experience the PlayTime & MusicTime programmes, run by like minded people wanting to offer family friendly services whilst maintaining a happy work life balance.

The programmes themselves can be scaled up or down to offer full time careers or above average part time incomes, and suit people who are passionate about running their own business. As a Franchisee or Licensee you must be confident, have excellent interpersonal skills with adults and children and view the welfare, education and physical development of young children as priority.

Franchisees or Licensees who are looking to run a business from home and transport their equipment in a large van for the PlayTime programme or a car for the MusicTime programme will be ideally suited to running a Tickety-Boo franchise or license, hours can be fitted perfectly around growing families with all the classes run around school hours and weekends in School Term time, unless you wish to work outside of these.

Whilst having early years training or qualifications in childcare and or music would be beneficial it is not essential, full training for both programmes cover all elements of running the business covering administration, finance, marketing, sales and delivery of all provisions in the mobile franchise, plus with the MusicTime programme training is also given by Julia Creaton, Tickety-Boo’s 1st licensee who in conjunction with Musicate our music education partner helped develop the programme, and with 10 years teaching Music in primary schools give her the ideal background for everything you will need to get up and running in no time at all.

  • All specialist equipment & Cd’s necessary to run a PlayTime Programme
  • A specified exclusive territory
  • £500 a month marketing fund paid for 1st 3 months of set up

Costs

  • Management fee 9% of turnover or a minimum of £35 per week payable 3 months after initial set up.
  • £8,000 Equipment Package
  • £3000 Franchise Fee
  • £500 initial marketing spend
  • Additional Costs for Large Van and Public Liability Insurance

MusicTime Licensing Package

  • A tried and tested successful business concept
  • A strong, recognizable and well respected brand
  • A complete package of proven class and business materials
  • A full range of professionally developed marketing tools
  • Regular on-going training
  • All musical instruments and CD’s necessary to run a MusicTime programme
  • A specified exclusive territory

 

Costs

  • £250 Annual License Fee
  • £250 upgrade to lifetime license agreement with no annual fee.
  • £550 Equipment Package
  • £500 initial marketing spend
  • £500 Training Package
  • Additional Costs for Public Liability Insurance assuming you have your own transport

The two packages whilst similar in many ways differs greatly in the type of classes run, space needed to operate your business and up front investment, plus operating costs. Both have the potential for good returns and an enjoyable career focussed around family life.
