Tickety-Boo does a Franchising Double
Tickety-Boo MusicTime class leaders Julia Creaton and Rebecca
Shrewsbury have enjoyed the experience so much since starting
in September 2006 that they have both decided to take on
their own Tickety-Boo MusicTime Franchises for Solihull
and Bearwood and Sandwell.
The 2 moms have found the
flexibility of running classes around their families,
coupled with the fun and enjoyment of the programme
makes for an easy decision to become the first Tickety-Boo
Franchisees in the UK. With both having helped develop
the Tickety-Boo MusicTime programme in conjunction
with Musicate a music education company based in Birmingham.
Michelle & Colin Nevin the founders
of Tickety-Boo are both extremely flattered, that at
such an early stage in Tickety-Boo’s development
they are showing so much confidence in the brand and
are confident they will both be great ambassadors in
pushing forward the Tickety-Boo programmes.

Tickety-Boo
Franchises are available now across the UK for both the
MusicTime and PlayTime programmes, Sutton Coldfield,
Solihull, Redditch & Leamington Spa have active thriving
Tickety-Boo PlayTime sites and could be considered for
the first territories, for enquiries please contact Colin
Nevin on info@tickety-boo.uk.com or ring 01676 530752

an award winning Midlands based music Education Company
to deliver early year’s music time programme

of Richard Shrewsbury a graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire

Couple Team Up With Kids In Mind
When Michelle Nevin’s
husband told her he wanted to spend more time with
the family, she just expected him home a bit earlier
from work.
But Colin Nevin, a company director, decided he wanted
to change his executive lifestyle, relocate and start
a business with Michelle as his partner, with other families
in mind.
The end result for the Balsall
Common couple is the launch of Tickety Boo, a children’s
adventure play programme they hope to turn into a UK
franchise operation and Arabesque School of Dance.
Aimed at six-months to school age, Tickety Boo will
operate at weekends and through the week, with classes
in Sutton, Solihull, Warwick, Bournville, Redditch, Wylde
Green and Balsall Common, all geared to fun, adventure,
play and fitness.

Whilst Arabesque, headed by Michelle, a Royal Academy
of Dance registered teacher of 13 years standing, will
provide ballet and new pre-school dance curriculum at
venues in Wylde Green, Leamington Spa, Solihull and Mere
Green.
“I used to help on weekends
when Michelle ran ballet schools in Birmingham and
Sunderland. I liked the social interaction with other
parents and families and the fact that I could spend
quality time with my wife and daughter after a busy
week away.
“So, I thought why not
do it for a living. Exchanged my car for a van, sourced
the latest play equipment, used my corporate skills
to develop a business plan and marketing strategy,
then we set about finding venues.”
The Nevin’s timetable looks pretty hectic for
the year ahead and ambitious franchise plans for Tickety
Boo will mean Colin’s experience as an executive
will come in handy, but at the moment he’s happy
with his official title of ‘Man with a Van’. |
