This isn't somebody turning up, pressing play on a playlist and standing behind a speaker for two hours.
Colin hosts the whole thing. Great music, big participation games, dancing, challenges, bubbles, party favourites and a fair amount of silliness — all of it led from the front.
Everybody joins in. That's the whole point.
🚫 We don't do knockout games. Ever.
Nothing where a child is out in the first two minutes and then spends the rest of the session sitting against the wall watching. Every game is built so that every child stays in to the end — which is rather the point of getting the whole hall together in the first place.
🎶 KS1 and KS2 are very different sessions
Same host, same kit — completely different session. We don't run the same disco twice.
KS1 — games-led
Plenty of party games woven through the music. Simon Says, Musical Statues, Musical Bumps, Pencils & Scissors, Treasure Hunt, UV Hokey Cokey, Bounce with the Bubbles, the Bonga Wonga Conga and The Bestest Ever Party Game in the World.
KS2 — music-led
Older children want to dance, not play games. So we keep it mostly music, with a few big set-pieces they'll actually get involved in.
The boys v girls floss competition is the one they still talk about the following week.
📝 Song requests
Children can write down their favourite songs and hand them in during the disco. It's half the fun, and it gets even the shy ones up.
We'll always try to play them — but we don't promise. We might not have it, it might contain language we're not playing to a school hall, or it might simply not be suitable. We'll say so and find them something else they'll love just as much.
⏱ Timings and year groups — let's talk it through
No two schools run these the same way, so we don't pretend to have a fixed format. Tell us what works for your hall, your timetable and your children, and we'll build it around that.
- Session length — some schools want 45 minutes per group, some an hour, some an hour and a quarter or longer. Whatever suits your attention spans and your afternoon.
- Year groups — commonly KS1 and KS2 separately, since the music and the games are genuinely different. Some schools split by individual year, others do the whole school in one. All workable.
- Number of sessions — one long one, two back-to-back, or several through the afternoon. We'll tell you honestly what works best for your numbers.
- Parents in or out — some schools want families watching, some very much don't. Both are fine.
- Large numbers, safely — games that don't work with a full hall have been taken out. Bouncy castles used are the ones designed for high throughput.

A birthday party with twenty children is one thing. A school hall with a hundred and fifty excited children is something completely different.
Games that work brilliantly with a small group fall apart with a whole year group. That's why our school entertainment has evolved specifically around large-scale participation.
Colin knows when to turn the energy up, when to bring everybody back together, when to change activity — and when a game that looked brilliant on paper isn't working with the children standing in front of him.
That's the difference an experienced live host makes.

We'll only suggest equipment that works safely with your hall, your numbers and your age groups. One company, one conversation, a lot less organising.
The teachers usually enjoy it too. We've lost count of the number of staff who've ended up in the conga. Consider that a warning rather than a promise.
Before we arrive you'll receive our Enhanced DBS certificate, public liability insurance certificate and a written risk assessment. Your staff remain responsible for supervision throughout. Schools pay on invoice.
