Our availability is live, so what you see is genuinely free. Pick a morning visit (9.30–11.30) or an afternoon one (1.00–3.00). That is the window, not a fixed start — we agree the exact start time with you inside it, so it lands where it suits your routine.
Set-up and pack-down happen outside your window, so you get every minute of the session you booked. Two Rooms, One Visit fits comfortably — 20 minutes with your babies, five to move across, then the full 45 with your preschool room.

Tickety-Boo isn't a party entertainer who's decided nurseries might be a good market. We've spent more than two decades doing one thing exceptionally well — getting young children involved.
No complicated equipment. No children sitting and watching. No awkward gaps while somebody sets up. From the first song to the final bubble, they're part of it.

20+ years of knowing what happens next
Anyone can press play on a children's playlist. The difficult bit is knowing what to do when twenty-five three-year-olds suddenly decide they're interested in something else entirely.
He knows when to turn the energy up. When to bring it down. When a game has another five minutes in it — and when it has another five seconds.
Colin has spent more than 20 years entertaining babies, toddlers, preschoolers and primary-age children through Tickety-Boo parties, toddler groups and school events across the West Midlands.
We don't just bring equipment. We bring an entertainer.
❤ SEND-friendly, and we mean it
Two of our own children have Autism and ADHD, so our SEND awareness isn't a policy — it's personal. Sessions adapt around different ages, abilities, confidence levels, sensory preferences and additional needs.
Quieter option available. If you have children who find loud music or big groups difficult, tell us beforehand and we'll adjust volume, pacing and lighting. Nobody has to join in until they're ready — and most of them do.

3. Colin turns up with everything. Music, props, puppets, parachute, the lot.
4. You watch someone else do the jumping about for a change. We invoice on the day.

Which session suits our rooms?
The 45 minute Mini Party suits 2 to 5 year olds. The 20 minute Stay & Play is built for babies and toddlers, whose attention spans are shorter. If you have both, book Two Rooms, One Visit and we run the two sessions back to back, with a five-minute changeover.
How much does it cost?
£99 for the 20 minute Stay & Play, £155 for the 45 minute Mini Party, and £254 for both rooms in one visit. Two younger rooms in one visit, 20 minutes each, are £155. Two rooms that both want the full 45 minutes run back to back at £155 each. Settings pay on invoice, with no deposit.
Is there an option for a smaller budget?
Yes. The 20 minute Stay & Play at £99 is our lowest-cost session, and it works especially well as a regular weekly or fortnightly slot rather than a one-off. Ask us about a termly booking and we’ll build something around your rota and your budget.
Can you come every week?
Yes — it's where we started. For 20 years Tickety-Boo ran weekly stay-and-play singing sessions in church halls and community centres across the West Midlands. Families and childminders came back week after week, and some came several days a week. We've built that same session into what we now bring to nurseries. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly — we'll fit your rota.
Won't the children get bored if you come every week?
The opposite. Little ones love knowing what's coming — the favourite songs, the parachute, the moment Little Tickety appears. Repetition builds their confidence and language, and we keep adding new songs, games and themes so there's always something fresh. Twenty years of families coming back every week is the best evidence we have.
Who will come to our setting?
Colin Nevin, who founded Tickety-Boo in 2005, leads our nursery sessions. He's enhanced DBS checked, and you'll always know in advance exactly who is coming. If you have us regularly, the children get to know him — and Little Tickety — by the second visit.
Can we see your DBS and insurance?
Yes, and we send them without being asked. Enhanced DBS, public liability insurance, a written risk assessment and our EYFS curriculum links sheet all go over before the first visit. We follow your signing-in procedure and your policies on the day.
Do you count towards our ratios?
No. Your own staff remain responsible for the children throughout and stay in the room. We're the entertainment, not part of your ratio — and your team are free to join in and capture observations.
How do we record it against our curriculum?
Before the first visit you get our EYFS curriculum links sheet, showing which areas of learning every part of the session supports. After every session we complete and sign a session record for your files — so it's evidenced without your team writing anything up.
What about children with SEND, or who find noise and lights difficult?
Tell us in advance and we plan around it — a quieter start, lower volume, lights off, or extra time for a child who needs it. Nobody sits out waiting for a turn, and every child joins in at their own pace.
What if a child doesn't want to take part?
Completely fine, and it happens in most sessions. Nobody is pulled in. Children join at their own pace, and watching from the edge is a perfectly good way to enjoy it.
How many children can join in?
Anything from a small group to a full room. Larger numbers change the games and pacing rather than the price.
What do we need to provide?
A space big enough for the children to move, and a plug socket. That's genuinely it. If you're booking two rooms, one shared space the rooms take turns in makes the changeover quickest.
Can you link the session to our topic?
Very often, yes. Festivals, seasons, celebrations, transport, animals — tell us what you're covering and we'll weave it in.
Do you do Christmas and graduation parties?
Yes — the full 45 minute Mini Party is perfect for Christmas, graduation and end-of-term celebrations, and most settings add the 20 minute Stay & Play so the babies and toddlers are included too. December is always our busiest month, so it's worth booking your Christmas date early.
