Tickety-Boo isn't a party entertainer who's decided nurseries might be a good market. We've spent more than two decades doing one thing exceptionally well — getting young children involved.
No complicated equipment. No children sitting and watching. No awkward gaps while somebody sets up. From the first song to the final bubble, they're part of it.

Every Tickety-Boo session is built around the way young children naturally learn — through movement, music, repetition, imagination and joining in. Designed to complement your EYFS provision, and easy to evidence within your Early Years curriculum.
Physical DevelopmentDancing, action songs, parachute work and movement games encourage coordination, balance, gross motor skills and body awareness. Props, ribbons and shakers bring in fine motor work.

20+ years of knowing what happens next
Anyone can press play on a children's playlist. The difficult bit is knowing what to do when twenty-five three-year-olds suddenly decide they're interested in something else entirely.
He knows when to turn the energy up. When to bring it down. When a game has another five minutes in it — and when it has another five seconds.
Colin has spent more than 20 years entertaining babies, toddlers, preschoolers and primary-age children through Tickety-Boo parties, toddler groups and school events across the West Midlands.
We don't just bring equipment. We bring an entertainer.
❤ SEND-friendly, and we mean it
Two of our own children have Autism and ADHD, so our SEND awareness isn't a policy — it's personal. Sessions adapt around different ages, abilities, confidence levels, sensory preferences and additional needs.
Quieter option available. If you have children who find loud music or big groups difficult, tell us beforehand and we'll adjust volume, pacing and lighting. Nobody has to join in until they're ready — and most of them do.
How to book
Almost nothing for you to do. That's rather the point 😄
1. Call or email — your setting, postcode, ages, roughly how many children and what you're after.
2. We confirm availability and send your risk assessment and certificates.
3. Colin turns up with everything. Music, props, puppets, parachute, the lot.
4. You watch someone else do the jumping about for a change. Invoice follows.

Questions nurseries usually ask
How long is a session?
45 minutes for nursery and preschool — about right for concentration spans in that age group. School parties and discos run longer; tell us your timings and we'll work to them.
How many children can join in?
Anything from a small childminder group to a full nursery or year group. Larger numbers change the games and pacing rather than the price.
What do we need to provide?
A space big enough for the children to move, and a plug socket. That's genuinely it.
Do you count towards our ratios?
No. Your own staff remain responsible for the children throughout and stay in the room. We're the entertainment, not part of your ratio.
Can we see your DBS and insurance?
Yes, and we send them without being asked. Enhanced DBS, public liability insurance and a written risk assessment all go over before the visit.
Can you link the session to our topic?
Very often, yes. Festivals, seasons, celebrations, transport, animals — tell us what you're covering and we'll weave it in.
How do we record it against our curriculum?
We supply a short session outline showing which areas of learning the activities support, so it's straightforward to evidence.
How do we pay?
Settings pay on invoice. No card details, no deposit chasing, no awkward conversations with your finance person.
What if a child doesn't want to take part?
Completely fine, and it happens in most sessions. Nobody is pulled in. Children join at their own pace, and watching from the edge is a perfectly good way to enjoy it.
