Children’s Parties & Entertainers in Sutton Coldfield
You choose the venue. We adapt the party to fit it.
⭐ Entertaining Sutton Coldfield children since 2005 · Mobile parties from £155 · Four Oaks · Mere Green · Boldmere · Streetly · Little Aston
Looking for a children’s entertainer in Sutton Coldfield? There is a very good chance we have already worked in your hall.
Tickety-Boo has been entertaining children around Sutton Coldfield, Four Oaks, Mere Green, Boldmere, Streetly and Little Aston since 2005. Twenty years as a local family business working in these church halls, community centres and village halls — learning exactly what works in each one.
Some halls take our biggest set-up with entertainment, bouncy castle and soft play. Some suit an adjusted set-up. Some are perfect for entertainment-only parties. The equipment changes to fit the room. The entertainment never does.
🏡 Twenty Years In These Halls, Not Twenty Minutes On A Map
Colin ran Tickety-Boo Stay & Play at All Saints Church Centre on Belwell Lane for around fifteen years. Michelle still teaches at Arabesque School of Dance, based at All Saints on Mondays and Fridays. Between us we have been part of children’s activities in this area for the better part of two decades.
Thousands of local preschool children and their families came through those Stay & Play sessions. That is not marketing. That is just how long we have been here.
A Few Sutton Coldfield Venues We Know Particularly Well
Examples only. We have entertained at many more across twenty years, and you absolutely do not have to use one of these. Already booked somewhere else? Just tell us where.
⭐ All Saints Church Centre — Belwell Lane, Four Oaks
Excellent for our biggest set-ups
The venue we know better than any other — Tickety-Boo Stay & Play ran here for around fifteen years, and Arabesque School of Dance is still based here Mondays and Fridays. There is also a smaller additional hall that can sometimes be hired alongside the main space for particularly big parties. If you want the full Tickety-Boo works, this is a superb choice.
🎪 St James Church Centre — Mere Green
Excellent for larger parties
Almost as good as All Saints for our bigger set-ups. Not quite as large, but still an excellent space for a substantial party with entertainment and inflatables. Handily positioned opposite Mere Green Library and Community Centre.
🎈 Little Aston Village Hall
Adapted bouncy castle set-up
A great local venue. A bouncy castle can be accommodated here with some adjustments to our normal set-up — a good example of adapting the equipment to the room rather than forcing the room to fit the equipment.
🏠 Quinney Hall
Entertainment-only venue
A lovely, smaller, cosy venue, best suited to our entertainment-only parties rather than big inflatable set-ups. Same entertainment, same energy, same party. A smaller venue absolutely does not mean a smaller party.
🏰 Streetly Sports & Community Association
Good for Dance & Bounce
A good-sized venue that works particularly well for our Dance & Bounce parties — bouncy castle and full entertainment together.
📚 Mere Green Library & Community Centre
Entertainment parties
We have worked across the different spaces here over the years — two or three rooms of varying sizes. The lower ceilings make it much better suited to our entertainment parties than large inflatable set-ups. And that is no bad thing: some of the best parties we have ever run had no bouncy castle in sight.
🎯 The Newman Community Centre — Boldmere
Adapted set-up
Same principle as Little Aston. A good local venue where an adapted bouncy castle and equipment set-up works nicely alongside the entertainment.
⛪ Four Oaks Methodist Hall
Adapted set-up
Another good Four Oaks option, suited to an appropriately adapted set-up rather than our very largest configuration. We will tell you exactly what will fit before you book.
🌳 Shenstone Village Hall
Excellent for larger set-ups
A few miles up the road from our long-standing Four Oaks base. A great-sized venue, excellent for our larger set-ups and historically very good value. It also sits nicely towards Lichfield, a direction we have covered for years.
✅ Already Booked Your Hall? Tell Us Where.
Even if it is somewhere we have never set foot in, send us the venue and we will advise on the best set-up for the space. Ceiling height, floor area, access — we will work it out. And if you have not booked a hall yet, tell us your date, roughly how many children and the sort of party you want, and we will share what we know about local halls that might suit.

❤ SEND-Friendly Parties — Designed To Include Everyone
Two of our own children have Autism and ADHD. So when we say we adapt our parties for children with additional needs, we mean it at the most personal level possible.
Pace, volume, lighting and activities can all be adjusted, and nobody is ever pushed into joining in before they are ready. Tell us about your child or their friends when you book, and we will make sure their party is every bit as brilliant as anyone else’s.

Sutton Coldfield Party Questions
What size venue do I need?
Smaller than most people think. Our entertainment parties work brilliantly in modest halls — it is the inflatables that need space and height. Tell us the venue and we will tell you honestly what will fit.
Can you provide a bouncy castle at my Sutton Coldfield venue?
In many cases yes — it depends on ceiling height, floor space and access. Some halls take our full set-up, others need an adjusted one. We will confirm before you book rather than turning up and improvising.
What if my hall has a low ceiling?
Then it is an entertainment party, and it will be a cracking one. Some of the best parties we have run had no inflatable at all. The equipment changes to suit the room. The entertainment does not.
Do you do entertainment without a bouncy castle?
Absolutely, and it is what we do best. Games, music, dancing, challenges and a properly hosted party from start to finish.
Can you recommend a party venue around Sutton Coldfield?
Happily. Have a look at the venues above, or ring us and we will share our experience of local halls that may suit your numbers, your budget and the sort of party you are planning.
Which areas do you cover?
Sutton Coldfield, Four Oaks, Mere Green, Boldmere, Streetly, Little Aston, Shenstone and out towards Lichfield, plus Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
