For twenty years we ran weekly stay-and-play singing sessions for babies and toddlers in church halls and community centres across the West Midlands, and families came back week after week. This is that session — the same songs, the same puppet, the same giggles — delivered in your rooms.
Structured, never rigid. Babies and toddlers set the pace. If a song is working it gets another go; if they've had enough, Colin moves on.
Babies and toddlers learn through repetition, routine and a familiar grown-up. Twenty minutes holds their attention from the first song to the last, and hearing the same hello and goodbye songs each visit is part of the learning, not a lack of variety — it builds confidence, language and a sense of what happens next. We add new songs and games over time, so there's always something fresh alongside the favourites.
Most settings have us cover two rooms in one visit. We arrive once, set up once, and run one session for your babies and toddlers and another for your older children.

Two younger rooms? Two 20-minute Stay & Play sessions in the same visit, with a five-minute changeover, are £155. One shared space that the rooms take turns in makes the changeover quickest.
You provide a space the children can move in, and a plug socket.
Handed out at the end of the session, one for every single child — and for the babies, straight to their key person for the bag. A lovely printed medal card to take home and show a grown-up.
Ages: babies and toddlers, designed for under-3s. Numbers: room-sized groups, from a small childminder group upwards — more children changes the pace, not the price. When: weekdays. Where: your setting, indoors.
Before we arrive you'll receive our Enhanced DBS certificate, public liability insurance certificate, written risk assessment and a short session outline showing which areas of learning the activities support — built around the three prime areas, so it's simple to record against your curriculum. Afterwards you get a signed session record for your files.
