Giant Pick Up Sticks

Drop the bundle, let it fall where it falls, and take it in turns to pull one out without moving any of the others. Scaled up to garden size, so the whole group can see what is happening and everybody has an opinion about whether that one moved.

It is the quiet game in the room, and every party needs one. Children who have had enough of bouncing will sit down with this for twenty minutes without being asked.

Where it works

Indoors on a hall floor or outside on the grass or patio. Needs a flat surface and no power.

Works well sat alongside giant skittles or dominoes as a games corner, or on its own next to a bouncy castle as somewhere for children to go when they come off.
