👸 Princess Party
A royal story told from the front for two hours, with a live princess available if you want her there in person.
We bring the whole thing to your hall or your front room — your Tickety-Boo entertainer on the microphone from the first minute to the last, a royal story running underneath it all, and games the children will still be talking about in the car on the way home.
Looking for a princess party in Birmingham, Solihull or Sutton Coldfield? We have been running them across the West Midlands for twenty years.
🎥 Every kind of party we run, in 90 seconds
Watch it through and you will know exactly what you are booking.
⭐ What makes this a Princess party
The story runs the whole two hours. This is the difference between a princess party and a disco with princess music on. Your entertainer is on the microphone from the first minute, and every game is framed as part of the royal day — so the children are in it, not watching it.
The birthday child is the princess of the day. Not a line on a website — it is how the two hours are actually structured, from the welcome to the Happy Birthday.
The princess playlist running under the whole thing, with the big singalongs where they belong.
The royal treasure hunt. The whole room sweeping for what has been hidden, every child in on it, nobody standing at the side.
Hobby horse racing. Two teams, hopping through the hoops, with the dads sent up first to demonstrate — which is usually the funniest two minutes of the afternoon.
A live princess, if you want one. £95 for 30 minutes, subject to availability. Tell us which princess, your date and where you are, and we will come straight back with a yes or no. Our princess headed mascot is £40 for 20 minutes.
🎉 What's included in your Princess Party
🎤 Two hours, hosted start to finishYour Tickety-Boo entertainer on the microphone throughout. A clear start, middle and end, with the pace read off the room rather than a script.
🎵 The full disco rigLights, LEDs, professional sound and the princess playlist. Hosted dancing and games keep the whole room moving.
🏰 Our Disney Princess bouncy castleWe own it rather than hiring it in — 15ft by 11ft, or a bigger one if your room takes it. Six at a time, supervised throughout, and switched off the moment we move to games.
🌈 The parachuteThe one that gets the grown-ups off their chairs. Join in or film it — entirely your call.
🏅 A medal for every childSweets, the big goodbye and a Tickety-Boo medal each, handed over by name.
🏠 No room for a bouncy castle?
Then we run it as an entertainment-only party instead, and fill the castle time with extra games and activities. Same party, same £350. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will tell you straight away which way round it works.
🕒 How your two hours run
1We arrive 30 minutes early and set up. You do not need to help.
2Music on as they arrive, so there is never an awkward empty room.
3Straight into the party games, with supervised castle sessions running alongside.
4Food break just past halfway. You lay it out, we keep the room calm.
5Back in for the disco, the royal treasure hunt and the hobby horse race.
6The parachute, with any parent who fancies it in the circle.
7Happy Birthday, with the birthday child front and centre.
8Medals, sweets and the big goodbye. We clear away around you.
🎯 The games
Simon Says · Treasure Hunt · Egg and Spoon · Mummy and Daddy Wrap · Hokey Cokey · The Bestest Ever Party Game In The World · The Parachute Game · Musical Statues · Musical Bumps · Happy Birthday — plus the princess games above, and activities adapted to the children and the space.
No knockout games, ever. Nobody is sent to sit down and watch. Doing pass the parcel? Bring the parcel and we will weave it in.
⭐ The birthday child is the star — however they shine best
Some children want the front, the microphone and every eye on them. Others find that the worst thing imaginable. Both are completely normal and we have seen both a thousand times.
Tell us when you book if you have any worries — shyness, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, anything at all. We adapt the pace, the volume and how we bring them in.
Two of our own children have Autism and ADHD, so this is personal rather than a policy line. We would always rather have that conversation before the day than on it.

❓ Questions parents ask
What do I need to provide?
The venue and the food. That is genuinely it. We bring the entertainment, the disco, the castle, the games, the props and the medals. You will need a standard mains socket, and room for the castle if you are having one.
How much space do you need?
It depends which castle we bring, which is why we ask about your room. A standard themed castle is 15ft by 11ft, the side slide is 19ft wide, and the Fun Run obstacle is 25ft long — and every one of them needs 3ft of safety matting at each end plus room for the blower down one side, so measure the floor, not the castle. Send us your hall or garden dimensions and we will tell you which castle fits, or whether the entertainment-only version suits you better.
Can we have a live princess?
Yes — £95 for 30 minutes, subject to availability on your date. Tell us which princess when you book. A headed mascot is a different thing and costs £40 for 20 minutes.
Do you decorate the venue?
Not on a mobile party — we bring the entertainment, the disco, the castle and the props, and you decorate the room how you want it. If you want the decorations done for you, that is our Ultimate Hassle-Free Party at our Solihull venue, where the room is already dressed before you arrive.
Will the boys be bored?
No — and we get asked this a lot. The games are the games: the parachute, the treasure hunt, the hobby horse race, the Bestest Ever Party Game In The World. The theme sits on top of a party that works for a mixed room, which is exactly why we run it this way round.
My child is shy. Will they hate it?
Usually the opposite, but we never force it. Shy at home very often means something quite different once the music is on. If they want to watch for the first twenty minutes that is absolutely fine — they join in when they are ready, and they almost always do.
What about the deposit and paying the balance?
A £20 deposit secures your date. The balance is payable on the day by card, cash or BACS. No booking fee.
Can somebody in our family wear the mascot costume?
Yes, and that is the £25 surprise mascot. It is cheaper than having one of our team wear it because we are already at your party, so there is no journey to pay for. Any of our headed mascots — tell us which one when you book. Two things to know: the costumes fit somebody 5ft 3in to 6ft of small to medium build, and we ask that another grown-up walks alongside them, because the heads have very little vision. Most families run the reveal themselves, and the birthday child usually enjoys that more than a stranger in a suit.
My child is 1, 2, 3 or 4. Is this party right for them?
Yes, and we change the set-up for them. For the little ones we bring our Explore soft play as well — including the unicorn hopscotch mat and the unicorn rocker — so there is somewhere for them to play alongside the games.
When the little ones are there we run it differently — closer to one of our Stay & Play sessions — the structure and the songs the little ones know — with the full party games programme on top for the older ones, and more supervision through the free play. The soft play lays out across a mat 12ft by 18ft and takes the middle of the room, so we build the entertainment around it. We have been doing that for twenty years and we are quick at it.
Most of these parties are five and over, though, and for those we leave the soft play out on purpose — at that age the entertainer and the party games hold them completely, and the soft play would only cost you the floor. Tell us the ages when you book and we will bring the right set-up.
Do you cover my area?
Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Coventry and the surrounding West Midlands. Not sure? Ring and ask — you will get a straight answer in about ten seconds.
