⭐ What makes this a glow party
Powerful UV cannons. Not a blacklight bulb in the corner. They are what makes white and neon clothing light up across the whole dance floor.
Our glow disco backdrop. This is one of only two mobile parties we bring a backdrop to, and it goes behind the decks so the room has something to look at rather than a hall wall.
They pick the music. Children and teens write down their requests and hand them in during the party, and we play them where we can. Send us a playlist ahead of the day, or let the birthday child build one — it is half the fun and it gets the shy ones onto the floor.
The UV tattoo station, £50. Glow-in-the-dark designs that stay on for days. On this party it is the obvious add-on and it is badly under-booked.
Pitched to the age group, not averaged across it. A hall of eight year olds and a hall of fourteen year olds are two completely different jobs. 6–12 gets games woven through the music. 13+ gets music-led with a few big set-pieces, because older children want to dance, not play Musical Bumps.

☀ How dark does the room need to be?
As dark as you can get it — UV only works in the dark, and we would rather say that plainly than take a booking for a 2pm party in a hall with uncovered windows. An evening party works anywhere. A hall with blinds works. And our own Solihull venue has blackout blinds, so a morning glow party there is as dark as a night one.

1We arrive 30 minutes early and set up. You do not need to help.
2Music on as they arrive, so there is never an awkward empty room.
3Lights down, UV up, and straight into it.
4Games woven through the music for the younger end, big set-pieces for the older.
5Requests collected and played through the night.
6Food break just past halfway. You lay it out, we keep the room calm.
7Back in for the second half and the floor-fillers.
8Happy Birthday, then medals, sweets and the big goodbye. We clear away around you.

No knockout games, ever. Nobody is sent to sit down and watch. Doing pass the parcel? Bring the parcel and we will weave it in.
⭐ The birthday child is the star — however they shine best
Some children want the front, the microphone and every eye on them. Others find that the worst thing imaginable. Both are completely normal and we have seen both a thousand times.
Tell us when you book if you have any worries — shyness, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, anything at all. We adapt the pace, the volume and how we bring them in.
Two of our own children have Autism and ADHD, so this is personal rather than a policy line. We would always rather have that conversation before the day than on it.

❓ Questions parents ask
What do I need to provide?
The venue and the food, and the darkest room you can manage. We bring the DJ rig, the UV cannons, the backdrop, the lighting, the games and the medals. You will need a standard mains socket.
What should the children wear?
White or neon. Tell them when you send the invitations — it is the single thing that makes the biggest difference to how the party looks, and it costs nothing.
Is this suitable for teenagers?
Yes, and it is one of the few parties that properly is. For 13+ we run it music-led with a handful of big set-pieces rather than party games, because older children want to dance. Tell us the age group when you book and we will pitch it accordingly.
Will you play any song they ask for?
We will always try, but we do not promise. We might not have it, or it might have language we are not playing to a room full of children. We will say so and find them something they will love just as much.
Can we have a bouncy castle with it?
Not with this one — the UV, the dark and a castle do not mix well, and the floor is the dance floor. If you want a castle and a disco together, Dance & Bounce is the party you are after.
What about the deposit and paying the balance?
A £20 deposit secures your date. The balance is payable on the day by card, cash or BACS. No booking fee.
Can somebody in our family wear the mascot costume?
Yes, and that is the £25 surprise mascot. It is cheaper than having one of our team wear it because we are already at your party, so there is no journey to pay for. Any of our headed mascots — tell us which one when you book. Two things to know: the costumes fit somebody 5ft 3in to 6ft of small to medium build, and we ask that another grown-up walks alongside them, because the heads have very little vision. Most families run the reveal themselves, and the birthday child usually enjoys that more than a stranger in a suit.
