A thirty-foot pirate ship in the hall, and nobody has to pick a side.
One party, two worlds, and every child finds themselves in it somewhere. Pirates and princesses together, two hours of themed games, and your Tickety-Boo entertainer running the lot from the microphone.

Not an upgrade. Where your hall takes it, our 30ft pirate ship comes as standard with this party. It hires on its own from £155.
It wants about 36ft by 14ft of clear floor — that is the ship at 30ft by 11ft, plus 3ft of safety matting at each end and room for the blower down one side. Measure the floor, not the ship. Height is rarely the issue: 15ft with the mast up, 10ft with it tied down.
Hall too small? We swap it for a themed castle that fits — a pirate castle, a princess castle, a side slide or the Fun Run, whichever suits your room. Same party, same £350.

⭐ What makes this a Pirate and Princess party
Ride The Pirate Plank. The one they remember. Flat out on a board, launched down the hall by two grown-ups — one sending, one catching, turning them round and sending them back. An adult is in control at both ends throughout. The six and seven year olds usually want to power themselves along and race the other team instead, so that is what they do.
The racing game. Two teams, hopping through the hoops on our hobby horses, with the dads sent up first to demonstrate — which is usually the funniest two minutes of the afternoon.
The games run in pirate and princess language from the first minute to the last, with the themed playlist underneath.
Themed castle or the pirate ship, chosen for your room. We own our castles rather than hiring them in, which is why we can bring the right one instead of whatever is in the van.

Some children want the front, the microphone and every eye on them. Others find that the worst thing imaginable. Both are completely normal and we have seen both a thousand times.
Tell us when you book if you have any worries — shyness, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, anything at all. We adapt the pace, the volume and how we bring them in.
Two of our own children have Autism and ADHD, so this is personal rather than a policy line.

❓ Questions parents ask
Will my hall take the pirate ship?
It needs about 36ft by 14ft of clear floor — the ship is 30ft by 11ft, plus 3ft of safety matting at each end and space for the blower. Most halls are fine, most front rooms are not. Send us your dimensions and we will tell you in a minute. If it will not fit, we bring a themed castle instead at no change to the price.
What do I need to provide?
The venue and the food. We bring the entertainment, the disco, the ship or castle, the games, the props and the medals. You will need a standard mains socket.
Is Ride The Pirate Plank safe?
Yes. A grown-up controls each end of the run at all times — one sending, one receiving — and the children go one at a time with everybody else cheering from the side. Older children usually self-propel and race instead. If a child would rather not, they cheer, and nobody makes anything of it.
My child only wants the princess side, not pirates
That is fine, and it is why the party is built this way. Tell us when you book and we will lean the games, the castle and the playlist whichever way suits your room — all pirates, all princesses, or both together, which is what most groups end up enjoying most.
What about the deposit and paying the balance?
A £20 deposit secures your date. The balance is payable on the day by card, cash or BACS. No booking fee.
Can somebody in our family wear the mascot costume?
Yes, and that is the £25 surprise mascot. It is cheaper than having one of our team wear it because we are already at your party, so there is no journey to pay for. Any of our headed mascots — tell us which one when you book. Two things to know: the costumes fit somebody 5ft 3in to 6ft of small to medium build, and we ask that another grown-up walks alongside them, because the heads have very little vision. Most families run the reveal themselves, and the birthday child usually enjoys that more than a stranger in a suit.
