⛔ OUTDOORS? CHECK THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK
In a garden, it’s real grass. Staked down.
Outside, every inflatable has to be anchored against the wind, and we anchor with metal stakes driven into the ground. Stakes only go into real grass.
❌ NO artificial grass or astro turf · ❌ NO hard standing, tarmac, concrete, paving or decking
✅ Got a real lawn? You’re good — and if you’re not sure, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you in a minute.
🏛 Hiring for a hall? That’s a yes.
Indoors there’s no wind, so the staking rule doesn’t apply — our castles can go into halls and indoor venues. The only thing that ever limits us is whether we can get to you to deliver and collect at the times you need, because our entertainment party diary comes first.
So just ask. You’ll get a quick answer either way — yes we can, or unfortunately not on that date.

☀ Midweek, April to September — four days
Monday delivery, Friday collection, for one day’s price. It slots neatly between our weekend bookings, which is why it’s such good value. Brilliant for the school holidays, for childminders, and for nurseries with outdoor grass space.
Dates not quite fitting? Just ask. Monday to Friday is the standard offer, but depending on the week we can often work something out.

THE WEEKEND HIRE
How does the weekend hire actually work?
We bring the castle on Friday and set it up in your garden. It stays with you Friday evening, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. We come back for it on Monday. You pay one day’s hire price, plus a £25 overnight fee, plus your delivery fee. That’s it — no hourly slots, no being told what time it has to be deflated.
Three days really, for one day’s price?
Yes. One day’s hire plus the £25 overnight fee covers the whole Friday-to-Monday stay. The reason we can do it is simple: once a castle is out it’s out, and a castle sitting in our van on a Saturday earns nothing. We’d far rather it was in your garden.
What if I only want it for the Saturday?
You’re still welcome to book it — but you’d usually be better off taking the whole weekend, because the extra is only the £25 overnight fee. Most people who ring up asking for one day end up taking the three.
Can I have it on different days?
Ask us. Friday to Monday is the standard weekend, and Monday to Friday is the standard midweek from April to September, but our schedule changes week to week and we can often fit something else around it. We’d rather you rang than assumed we couldn’t.
What does it cost in total?
Three things: the castle’s own hire price (on its listing below), the £25 overnight fee, and delivery at £10–£20 depending on your postcode. We confirm the exact total when you enquire, so there are no surprises on the day.
When do I pay?
The balance is paid on delivery — cash, card or BACS.
YOUR GARDEN
Will it fit in my garden?
Each castle’s dimensions are on its listing below. Allow a little extra all the way round for the anchor points and for children getting on and off. If you’re not sure, send us a photo of the garden on WhatsApp — we do this all day and we’ll tell you straight away.
What sort of surface do you need in a garden?
Real grass. Outdoors we anchor with metal stakes driven into the ground, which is what the standard requires, and stakes only go into grass. No artificial grass, no astro turf, no hard standing, paving or decking. The area wants to be reasonably flat, reachable without going up steps, and clear of anything sharp.
Why not astro turf, tarmac or decking?
Because stakes can’t go into a hard surface, and outdoors the standard then requires 163kg of ballast per anchor point instead. A standard castle has at least six anchor points — so that’s nearly a tonne of sandbags, around forty of them, delivered separately and taking well over an hour to place. It isn’t practical, which is why hardly anyone genuinely does it. If a company arrives at a hard surface outdoors with six small sandbags, that is a tiny fraction of what’s needed, and if the wind gets up the castle moves. We won’t do it.
Can you set up in a hall or indoor venue?
Yes. Indoors there’s no wind to worry about, so the staking rule doesn’t apply and our castles go into halls perfectly happily. The only thing that ever stops us is timing: our entertainment party diary comes first, so on some dates we simply can’t get to you to deliver and collect at the times a hall booking needs. Ask us and you’ll get a quick answer — yes we can, or unfortunately not on that date.
What if it rains?
Rain on its own usually isn’t the problem — wind is. Under BS EN 14960 an inflatable has to be shut down above 24mph. We watch the forecast on every hire day and we’ll ring you if we have concerns. We’d rather disappoint than take a risk with children on it.
SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND
Is it insured and tested?
Full public liability insurance on every hire. All inflatables are PIPA and RPii tested and comply with BS EN 14960:2013. Electrical equipment is PAT tested. All our staff are DBS checked. We’re members of the British Inflatable Hirers’ Alliance, the Bouncy Castle Network and The Inflatable Play Enterprise.
Who sets it up?
We do, on delivery — positioned, anchored properly and safety checked before we leave. You don’t touch it at either end.
Why is there a delivery fee?
£10–£20 depending on your postcode. Every hire is four journeys from our base — out and back to deliver, out and back to collect. We’d rather charge it openly than bury it in the price and call it free delivery.
How far do you go?
Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Coventry, Tamworth, Lichfield, Walsall, Redditch, Bromsgrove and the wider West Midlands. The delivery fee goes by how far we’re coming.

Add A Mascot For £50
Hire the costume for the day and get an uncle, a grandad or the brave friend to put it on. The castle’s already up — a character coming out of the back door into the garden is the bit they’ll be talking about at school on Monday.
And because you’ve got it all day, there’s no rush. Do the big entrance, the party bags, the photographs, all of it.
